Best Friends Pet Lodge is the ideal holiday resort for your dog(s) to stay while you are away on holiday. We are based 20 minutes from Midrand in the beautiful mountains between Hennops River and Hartbeespoort dam – This is truly a lovely relaxing holiday spot for dogs.
Run by qualified Dogtown staff members and with only 12 luxury cabanas, you know your furkid is going to get the personal attention that they need.
Each cabana can welcome 2 family guests. Additional guests can be accommodated on special arrangements.
What sets Best Friends Pet Lodge apart from any other pets lodge, is the personal care and attention that we offer to make your furkid's stay as natural and enjoyable as possible.
With sunset walks, T-touch sessions, games and cuddles, you can relax and enjoy your holiday, knowing that your precious furkid is in good hands. What makes the experience even more unique, is our daily photo updates of your furkid’s stay.
We also offer basic training for your furkid (if needed). This will be done by qualified Dogtown staff (Only positive reinforcement methods are used).

It's run by Barking Mad/Dogtown SA who I adopted my Basset boy from, and they are absolutely fantastic with the dogs. They get spoilt rotten and you'll get photos WhatsApped to you daily. And I'm very fussy about who takes care of my dogs. Best Friends is on the property of Dogtown SA (a well known rescue centre) and is run by experienced Dogtown staff. Best part is that all the proceeds go to the rescue centre! And they get spoiled and loved and they send you daily photo updates! I'll post a link to their FB page below....
