I contacted a recommended plumbing firm, described the problem and was quoted a price for call - out, charge for 2 hours work (just in case it was more complicated),and a medium - priced replacement part. I was told an average price would be £195. I consulted the latest edition of Open Up, found an advert for Hannah Kubacova who came, diagnosed the problem, repaired it in 10 min and charged me about 1/5 of the price! Thank you Hanna.
