I am desperately seeking any suggestions for a venue for a very small wedding on the Tablelands for 10/09/2016 after the venue which I secured 50 weeks in advance decided to let me know now that they have double booked for that date. I now have booked other vendors making it almost impossible to change the date. I am interested in private rentals, with options to hold the ceremony indoors if the weather is bad and somewhere nearby to take photos hopefully with accomodation options nearby too ... TIA

  Emerald Lodge at Mareeba. www.emeraldlodge.com.au is our website and we are up the road from Ringers Rest.We have had guests stay at Lodge and use Ringers Rest as their ceremony and reception.But have had others that have had ceremony and reception at Lodge..Emerald Lodge is a 9 bedroom Lodge each with own bathroom and sleeps 20.. It will only be a small wedding of around 30 adults but we will also have six kids aged 4 and under so it needs to be family friendly. Perhaps looking at an outdoor venue where with accommodation on site so the rooms are right there for the kiddos.   Emerald Lodge 549 Malone Road Mareeba.Emerald Lodge is a gorgeous nine bedroom house situated in Mareeba .It has everything you need.Accommodation included.For $3,500 you get full use of the venue ,accomodation for 20 people.Tables set up for you and basic table decorations..All you have to do is catering ,or we can arrange caterers for you..Crockery,cutlery,and glasses..We can provide you tea coffee and cakes for a fee as well.Not too expensive.And it is very private..You can contact me on 0477 867326.
