  I use Dr. Dori Hertel at Loop 494 Animal Hospital (281) 358-8893. It is near Kingwood so it it's about 2 hours from Galveston (Houston is huge). And if I remember correctly, Dr. Dennis Jensen is supposed to be a good ferret vet and he's "downtown" Houston (2614 Edloe St. (713) 622-2274). I don't know of any near Galveston and hopefully, you won't need them. 8 fuzzies in an RV?!? Jen
