  I live in the area and don't have an overall mechanic shop to recommend. Tried firestone and won't go back. They were ok and honest, just think I can find better. Meanwhile, if you need brake work and a few other things, [these guys](http://www.probrakes.com/) are very good and won't rip you off. They are next to Walmart on Silverado and Bermuda. If you call them and they can't do the work you need (they do a variety of things) perhaps they can recommend someone, since they pride themselves on honest work. They did my brakes a while back and I had a very good experience.
