  Can anyone recommend a reliable electrician in the neighborhood? This is a small-ish job, and ideally I would like someone who will not cancel our appointment when something more lucrative comes up.

  We've had great luck with HV Electricians. It's just a dad & his two sons. They're great and very reasonable! They did a ton of work when we first bought our place and have been back to do several little jobs we've had pop up. We'll need to have our service fixed up big time when we add central air upstairs and will be using them. They are one of three contractors (of 15+!) that we still call from our initial work list.+17738296969

  We had really good results with Hugo Viramontes - hviramontes98@gmail.com or 773-829-6969. There are two Hugos, dad and son and Luis is Hugo Sr's other son. They cleaned up a ton of junk that our building's former owner (ironically an electrician) had really jerry rigged.
