  Where to sell old/rusted bikes? Hibonjour, Does anyone know a place that will buy old bikes that are in pretty poor condition? I have a bike that was stupidly left outside over the winter, so now the gears and brakes are very rusted, tires are garbage, but the frame is still in decent condition. Called two bike repair shops, and they both don't take or buy bikes in this condition. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  Maybe try [these guys](http://www.mecanocycle.ca/contact.html) in Griffintown? They make "new" bikes out of old ones. I wouldn't expect to get much cash for it though.
