  I had to take down my original post and repost this. Hi all. Im in Los Angeles and would like recommendations on who to go to for a partial restoration of a 1983 FJ60 that belonged to my grandfather, if there are any such specialists around. The interior is fine and in great shape. The outside will need minor body work except the tailgate might need replacing of the dent will not come out entirely. I also need a recommendation on the route to take for the motor, possible rebuild, maybe a new motor. Im in Cali so smog requirements apply, so i plan on keeping the powerplant stock, and reliable and smog compliant, unless someone has any good suggestions on the motor.
