Suggestions for Lawn Care Company Our yard is around 0.85 acres with lots of trees. The front yard is okay to deal with, but the back yard is just too much. Not to mention the mosquitos (they're finally dead, I think), snakes, poison ivy and oak. We love it, though! But despite spending time trying to make it look nice, we never get as much done as we would like.
We're looking for affordable lawn care including cutting grass, taking care of leaves, and little bit of landscaping along the fence edges.
Can anyone suggest some companies and prices? We've never paid for lawn care before, so I have no idea what's considered the average cost. This is in Hoover / Vestavia area. Thank you!

Check out lawnstarter.com. It’s a company that contracts with local landscapers in your area, and they will give you a quote over the phone for the cost. The first cut is usually discounted. They don’t lock you into a contract necessarily, but do require 3 cuts before you can cancel. If you don’t like the first landscapers that you get, you can request to change companies. If you do like them, I would recommend asking them if it would be better for you to cancel lawnstarter and pay them directly after the required cuts. I used them when my lawnmower broke earlier this year and the team they sent out was great.
New to town I’m new to town and I’m looking for reasonably priced lawn care. I’m located in Lakewood. I’d really prefer to have a high schooler who’s starting a business or something but any suggestions help! Thanks in advance!
Recommendations for lawn care companies? I’m looking for lawn care companies that cover South Austin near Mopac and William Canon. Need them to cover mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization and aeration. I’ve looked at google and yelp and haven’t found any that stand out, not surprisingly lawn companies don’t have very impressive websites. Most of them just provide quotes and don’t list their specific services.
Do y’all have any you use that you would recommend? Thanks!
I'm looking for a good lawn service company that will bag the grass...also need some weeds pulled in the back.
