The Franschhoek Wine Tram hop-on hop-off tour is one of the best ways to discover the true essence of the Franschhoek Valley. For more information visit the website at http://www.winetram.co.za
Wine tour Cape Town I was wondering if anyone here has a winery tour recommendation out of Cape Town. I will be visiting after Christmas and wanted to do a winery tour. I planned on renting a car and going myself but I will be alone so I’m thinking a tour is a better option. I’m hoping to visit more quality wineries rather than tourist friendly ones and purchase a case or two to ship home.

Maybe try and have a look at the Franschhoek wine tram [here](http://winetram.co.za). It's a tram/transport service that takes you around some great wine locations (usually 5 or 6 per ticket) for around $18.00. It must be noted that the ticket is only for the tram so any tasting fees at the venue will be additional (the tasting fees are around $2-4 per venue. Just make sure to organise transport back to your accommodation since things can be a bit hazy after your fourth wine stop.
Good morning fellow Melkies.
I'd like to take visiting family to some Stellenbosch/Franschhoek wine estates on Friday. Is there a local company who can drive us around all day?! (0800-1700) Clearly we like wine!
