  Make sure you use a licensed/bonded/insured electrician. Transfer switches are complex and require a permit and inspection. I'd recommend Vista Electric - they advertise in the Island Phone Book and do a lot of work on the Island. (253) 565-9407.

  I am looking for a certified electrician on the island to update a power-box from a 30a to a Nema 14-50r, I talked to the electric co and they said I have to have it installed by a certified electrician and inspected. Does any one have a recommendations. Thank you.

  not on island, but we've used Dan from Vista Electric a few times, he's good and price is reasonable. He works on island frequently. 253-565-9407.
