  I discovered a GREAT source of metric hardware, last year when I was restoring MY Goose. Wilder's Hardware in Raleigh, near I-440 and Atlantic. Wilder's is not a hardware store it's a NUTS AND BOLTS ONLY specialist. Whatever you might need that WILL have it right there on the shelf.
