  Hi BS3. So my car doesn't start. I managed to start it and drive to the front of my flat to load up the car to go back to my mums for the weekend and now it doesn't start. The lights are turning on and when I turn on the engine it just ticks. I have absolutely no knowledge about cars, can anyone recommend a friendly and honest mechanic that I can call? Wanted to consult the internet before taking my car to the garage :D I have a mini one convertible, recently moved house and crammed alot of stuff into the back of the car and now the roof doesnt want to come down, there doesnt appear to be any parts that have been dislodged or damaged...Is this a safety feature?
