About us
There is nothing traditional about Triple Threat Theatre Arts Ltd, we are all about being different, it’s the only way to stand out in a crowd right?? With not a tutu or classical ballet tune in sight we are dedicated to producing highly trained, individual, confident, inspired artists. Call us rogues but there is nothing much conventional about the performing arts industry, so why train that way?
Whilst medals, exams and competition are a fantastic achievement, do you want the honest truth???? London doesn’t care about how many how many trophies you have sitting at home, they don’t care for how many dance titles you have! They care about your technique, your performance, your creativity and YOU as a person. They want to know if you can learn a routine in a split second, change up a routine, make it your own even in the event of an injury, or step in at the last minute!
So the endless hours of exam work are gone, expensive competition outfits are no more. Instead we are shaking up the industry with a Theatre Arts Company that focuses on performance! However do not fear… If competition is really something you desire or exams are what drives you, we have something to temp you. Read on for more information on an out of this world opportunity!!!
We believe that all budding performers should have an opportunity to experience a vast and wide range of classes, which is why we have created a timetable which will allow each performer to grow and develop, enhancing their own personality, style and flare.
Our classes are divided into 4 age groups:
Performing Chunks: 18 months – 4 years
Dream Makers: 4 – 7 years
Celebrities: 7 – 11 years
VIP’s: 12 years +
We have also considered the constant financial pressures of having such talented children, so we have created 3 fantastic stands to the company (this is where is gets really interesting):
Performance: Our performance kids can attend any class they wish within their age category. Classes cost £3.80 and are... show more pay as you go. We believe all children should get an opportunity to perform, so no matter what class you chose to take part in, there will be regular performance opportunities.
Professional: As you have guessed, we are pretty serious about producing talent, but we don’t believe this should break the bank. So we have created an unlimited class pass for performers. They can attend as many classes as they like within their age group for £20 per week, and if you make our lives easier by paying standing order, we will drop you an extra discount too.
Company: Our company classes are for those wanting that little bit more, the full shebang, the full glitz and glamor. We would like to say you will bounce out the door at the end, but the true fact is, you might actually be crawling due to the high level of intensity (you wanted to be a performer right?). The most exciting part of company is the 4 to choose from so you can start to focus on your own speciality:
Musical Theatre: Bringing all the musicals to life with a full scale production. Covering all aspects of theatre from performing to stage management.
Commercial Jazz / Street: Remember when we mentioned the opportunity to compete? How does The Dance Worlds in Disney Florida sound? Yip – we aren’t talking community centre and village hall competitions here, we are talking UK arena based rounds leading to the “Golden Ticket” to worlds.
Contemporary: This will seek out the most passionate dancers, they will find opportunity after opportunity to work with world renowned dance artists. You will also get the opportunity to take your contemporary exam grades!!! These are new, fresh and very unique.
Boys Only: Yes - a dedicated boys only dance company. This may include, physical theatre, breakin, tumbling and even some parkour!
All of our companies will evolve in an exciting, fun energetic fresh new community for talented performers, where the nurturing of creativity is the ultimate focus and striving for excellence at all times.
So there you have it, 2 years in the making and like we said when we started, nothing normal about us – just wait until you meet the staff!!!
