I got a traffic ticket (lane splitting) and my court date is coming up( I wasn't really doing lane splitting at the first place, so I'll ask for some sort of proof from them, but I doubt that they'll work with me in that regards.
Any suggestions?

I hear ya Dmitry. Trust me , I do. I reached out to a national group for suggestions on my bogus ticket and they asked in NY is it a civil or criminal court?" I told them it was administrative and they said "oh, you're kinda screwed." Best thing is that points are not on very long. 18 months I believe, and that is from the date of the ticket. It may not ever show on your license but you would still have to pay the fine. Again, that consultation is a good way to go. i called these guys for the free consultation. http://www.nytrafficlawyer.com/
