Does this sound right? She's not actually in a position to do that anyway, so she has tried two more places that can't fit her for weeks and she can't wait that long. And unfortunately due to hereditary illness, she may have to be put down due to both back legs, she struggles to walk, she limps around, so an apperation is needed. She has had an exray, and basically the vets said its going to cost thousands of pounds as the illness has now spreaded on both legs. They said it isn't fair to keep her in pain, so either my mum needs to pay her kind of money, or she needs to be put down. She is 9 months of age, she has her whole life ahead of her, and she seems so happy in herself. I cannot be without her. If you have any advice please share/comment on this on how I could raise approximately the money to fix her up for bellas opperation? Any advice welcome. I noticed she was walking gingerly so took her to the vet today who said she might have to have her tail amputated! Not only do I want to avoid the price of surgery, I also want to avoid this option for my cats sake. Fraser W. asked:Okay , so my cat's tail has been injured and has had exposed tissue for a week . We managed to book a appointment at 'Medivet' to hopefully get her better. We first had to pay to even just get an appointment , but the worst was to come . We thought we would have to pay for treatment of a cream of some sort , but our cat got diagnosed with gangrene on her tail, which means her tail has to get amputated. During this time the vet made sure her wound was clean by dabbing it with cotton wool . Just dabbing it , cost us 30 pounds , and then we got told the whole procedure would cost £600 ! As its christmas week our family do not have the money for this , but if anyone knows of any other vet in the area which costs a little bit less , I will appreciate your help so much! We have only had her 3 months but my kids r devastated at the thort of having her put down.
