About us

Animal Street Rescue Yangon was started by Dr. San Yi Htet in 2013. Dr. San had personally rescued dogs on the street for many years, and then got other volunteers involved. Today we are a small group of 4-5 people who all do this for the love of animals. There are many dogs and cats in poor condition in Yangon, and we can only help a few. This is why contributions from the local community as well as travellers is highly appreciated. Please contact us if you are interested in seeing our work or want to contribute by volunteering or donation.
