Are you an aspiring fisherman? Do you need a place to teach your wife, your children or a friend to fish? Do you need a place to practice fly fishing/ or testing your float tube that is secluded, quiet, and private?
No license is required and there will never be more than two people fishing on this lake at one time.
I have boats available as well as a nice dock, or you can fish from the swim platform. Or you can bring your own float tube. (I do not allow gasoline engines) You will have plenty of room to float a nice fly line or fish as you wish.
All you need is your favorite fishing pole, your favorite fly or nymph, and of course an appointment. I am open year-round.
The fish range in size from 14 inches to 24 inches and growing…. some are absolute tackle busters.
I require that you use barbless hooks, for a catch and release program. However, if you're going to keep the fish I charge $.50 per inch for each fish kept. or about 10.00 a fish. ( one will easily feed two people)
I charge six dollars per hour per fisherman with a two-hour minimum. Again, we will not allow more than two fishermen to fish at the same time, which prevents people from getting in each other's way and is very... show more
comfortable. (No elbow to elbow fishing here) However, if you bring your family, they will be the only ones fishing assuring your privacy. Families are 15.00 per hour with a two hour minimum.
You will never have to worry about noises that detract from the experience and solace of fishing.
I do allow bait fisherman, however, you must keep the fish you catch as nearly every fish caught on bait is injured.
The lake is also available for small parties ( like children’s birthdays), weddings, and remote control ( RC ) boat races (electric only no gasoline engines allowed)
Restroom facilities on site and a nice fire pit to keep your other half warm in the cooler months.
