  Well, my two favorites of all time aren't in SCV; if you're in Northridge, try Dos Arbolitos; my other go to is http://thegardensoftaxco.com/ but that's rather a slog and haven't been there in a few years. Thanks for bringing it up though, now I will have to go again. I don't know what you mean by Margarita's making a lake of it on the enchiladas poblano perhaps you should try just ordering the chicken ;)

  I second Matt's gardens of taxco suggestion, wonderful mole. I would also add velvet margarita in Hollywood as one of my favorites. Also going to try some of these local suggestions out.
