I've been in love with photography my entire life. It all started with my father capturing moments on our family vacations with his film SLR camera. I love going through all our beautiful photos and remembering all the fun times we had. I just wish he were in more of them! Now that he’s gone, I treasure the ones that we do have.
In high school, my best friend and I used to take lots of photos every time we were together. On one of my milestone birthdays she put together a video slide show of all our fun times with the song That’s What Friends Are For playing in the background. The sentiment was warmly received.
After my daughter was born, people started showing interest in my "work." I started getting offers to come take portraits of their children, family, and important events in their lives.
It’s a fun experience being the photographer during a photo session. When all is said and done and I finish my edits, I always think to myself that I hope the portraits I take will be treasured forever.
