  Does this beautiful boy look familiar to anyone? He has been lingering at 1 River Road for a few days now. He is clearly a well-trained and loving young dog who is waiting for someone to come and find him. If anyone knows anything please contact me.

  I just spoke with the vet clinic in Shawville (Dr. Jong, 819-647-3945). They have not had a report of a lost dog. They can scan for a microchip; she suggested this be done asap to rule out the dog being lost, as lost dogs can actually travel further than we realize. They are open this evening (Friday) and Saturday morning. If he is not microchipped, the local SPCA fellow may have had a lost dog reported - Jacques Fortin is his name, pager 819-779-6599. I did not call the pager, as I don't know where things are at in terms of trying to determine if this dog is lost. There was no answer at the vet clinic in Quyon (819-458-2974).
