I am currently setting up TRU Finance as an outsourced, offsite finance function for small businesses in my local area, to help business owners concentrate on their core business and perhaps find a better work-life balance by freeing them from the constraints of all the day-to-day finance admin and management reporting tasks, such as - Bespoke Budgeting, Forecasting, Cashflow Forecasting, Sales Forecasting and Project planning - A/R & Credit control (Raising invoices to customers as well as monitoring and chasing late payers) - A/P and cost reduction (Checking invoices received from customers and advising on which areas of spending could be reduced/money better spent) - G/L journal entries and account reconciliation (checking that your accounts system reflects reality for your business, keeping you in control) - Management accounts such as interpretation of results, which will assist you with pricing your product/service, costing your expenses and ensuring your business is run as profitably as possible. - If you are self employed and acting as a sole trader I can also act as your HMRC Income Tax Agent and soon to be training and applying to become a VAT agent also. - I have experience with implementing new finance software and testing data integrity, so can also assist with this to get you up and running on a short term or long term basis.
I have over 10 years experience working in finance teams of both large and small organisations, a Business Management degree and a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification.
