  Hi all. Since the new taxi tariffs came into force, the cost of getting to the airport has risen hugely. Does anybody have experience of the new companies offering cab services for a fixed price? Can you share contacts with whom you have had good experiences?

  Thanks. It's the latter service type I had in mind. They appear to be basing their prices on the previous 'fixed' tariffs the taxi companies used to use. Taxi prices are all the same now - standard meter rate, so the only difference between one company and another is the quality of their cars and the service offered.In practice it's now cheaper to drive to the airport and use the car park for a week (booking in advance on www.bud.hu) than to use a taxi two ways.
