Ann L. wrote: Booked taxi online from Windsor to Ascot return. Was given contract for £20 plus £21 for the 2 trips. Driver on time and the car smart & clean. Partway through the trip the driver said that we needed to pay for both journey's up front. We were ok with that and handed over £40, then he said it was £40 each way. I said I had a contract for £41 so he phoned his boss and let me speak to him. Explained that I had an email confirming a different price, his attitude was that original price was a mistake, that he hadn't increased the prices and everyone had to pay the same. He said he didn't have time for this and if we didn't like it we could get out of the car and find another way to get there. TBF due to horrendous traffic the trip took 3x the time it should have so I didn't disagree with the higher price. It was his attitude and approach to customer service that was appalling. we paid anyway as we had no choice but will never us this company again.
