  You may qualify for Head Start (3-5 yr olds) or Early Head start (birth -3) with the company I work for. Thrivalaska 452-4267, ext 235 or 238 1949 Gillam way. Head start is free preschool ( part day 4 hrs or full day) if you qualify, but mtg with Bonnie or Dotty will help to determine that. We are currently enrolling. Even if you just qualify for the part day and need other care it helps with the cost of not paying full prices. We also have the Child care assistance office right down the hall. When you come in ask for Lisa that's me and I can help you find who you need. Also check out our website thrivalaska.com

  Is there a daycare that doesn't require a person to have child care assistance? I called ThrivAlaska they require the child to be on assistance and they factor in the BAH from the military. Early Head Start, my daughter was on the wait list all last year for that one.
