  Hi Cirene, there are several local travel agencies affiliated with Japanese agencies/airlines; these might make a good starting point. The official website for the Japan Rail Pass has a list of authorised agents (link below) - even if you don't intend to use a JR Pass the list could be mined for contacts. http://www.japanrailpass.net/05/en05_1.html
