About us
The Centre provides care for children 12 months to 12 years of age (with our Day Care and Out of School Programs) on a full or part time basis, depending on the family’s needs. The Edson Children’s Learning Centre is a place where parents are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the childcare program. Our programs offer a warm, accepting, and nurturing atmosphere, essential for children to grow and develop. It is a safe place where children can test and build their strengths as well as develop lifelong skills through positive interactions.
We are a Government Accredited Childcare Centre! Accreditation standards were developed by Human Services, a government agency with standards that are above and beyond the licensing requirements. They focus on outcomes for children, families, staff and community to support children’s optimal early learning and development.
• We have an open door policy and welcome families to visit
• All our staff are professionals who are trained in Early Childhood Education and first aid with infant and child CPR.
• Children can choose from a variety of open-ended play experiences that support varying skill levels and interests, including early literacy skills.
Government of Alberta childcare subsidy is available for attendees at our centre, and staff can assist you with the application.
