As a former junk food junkie that survived a huge embolism, I had to take drastic action to lose weight and get healthy. I remember the doctor standing over my hospital bed and saying "you survived"!
I was asked before being discharged, by the same doctor, "can you go home and look your children in the eye and say I'm going to die? If not, then you need to lose that weight as quickly as possible and start exercising".
I am now down TRIPLE DIGITS in weight! Over 100 pounds and still losing more. I enjoy the lifestyle change, I enjoy telling people how I lost it and I enjoy seeing others become healthy.
