  Brasserie Blanc in MK is very good and if you are prepared to go a little further Auberge de Lac , Brocket Hall, Old Welwyn is Michelin star and superb. Dinner there is very expensive but they do superb lunchtime deals..three Courses with 2 glasses of wine for about £39.50 per head. Its always my choice for a special occasion. Sadly nothing very special in Bedford but the Three Tuns in Biddenham isnt bad. Only ever had lunch there though. http://www.brocket-hall.co.uk/dining/auberge-du-lac/
