I'm a former member NYSC.....just can't bring myself to like working out at the Planet Fitness on Dyckman and thinking about canceling and joining this gym.   Cool. Let everyone know what you think. I'm on my way there now to lift. They will charge you $10 for a visit but make sure you get a receipt. Up to 3 can be credited towards your membership. I signed up via globalfit.com, which I keep getting coupons for discounts if you're interested. That website helped me skip the sign up fees
