In Tokyo, there is one in Shinjuku and another one at Keio Tamacenter (near Sanrio Puroland). Tama https://www.keioplaza.com/tama/ Shinjuku https://www.keioplaza.com/
We're planning on going to Japan (Tokyo and some skiing) for our honeymoon Dec/Jan. We want to stay in a mixture of fancy places and some good for the budget places. What area in Tokyo is best to stay in? Any recommendations for accommodation?

As for Tokyo: when I first came to Japan I found Shinjuku a good place to stay in. In Shinjuku I like the Keio plaza http://www.keioplaza.com/ It is conveniently located, the food is lovely, friendly staff, beautiful interior etc. A word of warning; in Tokyo all the hotel rooms are small, but Keio's are bigger as it is a "luxury" hotel. Nearby is the Washington hotel, slightly cheaper (smaller rooms!), not as nice, but quite conveniently located.
