Adventurous food. I take my brother out to eat every year to try something we have never had before. Looking for recommendations on places to try. We have had Ethiopian, Mediterranean, Mexican and Chinese food so far. Looking for new options or some great places for something we already had.

[Cafe Madrid](https://cafemadrid-dallas.com/) for Spanish food, [Casa Linda](https://casalindasc.com/) for Salvadorian food (dude pupusas are too amazing to pass up), [Bavarian Grill](https://www.bavariangrill.com/) for German food, just some of my suggestions
Where is a good place to eat? It's our anniversary next week and we are wanting to actually eat some where that we can enjoy. Thank you. It doesnt have to be just Lewisville it can be anywhere less than an hour drive.
Does anyone know of a good bakery in the area? Preferably someone who has some delicious German breads. ...

I was just in Muenster last week and went to Fischer's Meat Market. I got some sausages and cheeses. There is also a bakery there, but is too far for everyday purchasing. It's good for a day trip. Also, the Bavarian Grill in Plano has great food. They have their rolls/breads available for purchase, but no separate bakery.

Bavarian Grill is usually good but I have had some bad meals too...I think their rolls are frozen and then baked....Jörgs in Plano is pricey but their Schnitzel is authentic Austrian..Jaegerschnitzel comes without breading but you can order it with.

Oh really, Mark Grubb ? My meals at Bavarian Grill have always been good and I didn't realize the rolls were frozen. What a disappointment. frown emoticon Now you guys have me wanting some really great German food

Bavarian Grill scared me. It's too cluttered, and dirty. It needs a good scrub down!
Kellie W. replied:
I will admit that Bavarian Grill is the only German restaurant I've been to, because my best friend had gone there several times and I wasn't really aware of any other authentic places. Now from this posting, I've got some new places to try. I agree with Lisa Kuhlmann though.. although I went to Bavarian Grill with friends a few times, I did think it was cluttered and just old & tired looking. They could use a scrub down LOL
