  Replacing a garage door spring requires someone skilled in that. it's a very dangerous repair, if you aren't ....don't even attempt it. I had a friend almost lose 2 fingers attempting it! If you need help getting the door open (manually) so you can get out please ask for help. Otherwise, I'd call Boulder Garage Door, (303) 447-1501. A family run, very trustful business.
