  Hello all, once again I am hit with billing before treatment. I need to get an MRI prescribed by a neurologist of my head. But so far I get the answer " we need insurance approval first" I thought it was illegal to be turned down for treatment based on billing. ??? Any one know who will do this on a lien basis?

  I don't know how you get a prescription for the procedure, but I do know that this place in Ventura will do MRI's for patients who do not have insurance...at a discounted price. (Last week they told me they charged $500 for uninsured clients and an est. $1600 for insured patients for a lower back MRI.) http://rollingoaksradiology.com/centers/
