  I went to Powis Street to the cut-price carpet place today. In the past I have bought all my carpets there, sometimes they have an offcut big enough or I have bought from the roll. They also come and measure and fit for a reasonable price, even cushion flooring or lino. Well, they have GONE!!!! Where can I go now? I went to a shop once, I think it was Carpetright and would have had to pay about £400 for a carpet for one room whereas I ended up getting it bought and fitted for about £200.
