  Concierge Vet Care? I have a cat who is completely neurotic about going to the vet. He starts screaming in the car, usually pees or pukes in the carrier for bonus points, and by the time he gets to the vet he is so crazed he's just a snarling growling hissing clawing biting tornado. It's so bad that they need to knock him out for even the most basic exam. And when he comes back he's always "off" for a few days until he fully recovers. It really breaks my heart. He's getting older, and vet visits are becoming impossible to avoid. So does anyone know of any "concierge" vet services where they come to you for basic maintenance and treatment?

  Erica just switched my pack of 7 to Island Veterinary Group. 873 east jericho tnpk,11746 (631) 271-7387 I switched from My Pets Vet. Was NOT happy with them at all. The place is filthy the staff is rude and you never get the Dr you request seeing. Island Veterinary Grpup is fabulous. They are 3 Drs. That started a practice from West Hills Animal Hos. (Which I happen to love also, just expensive) These ladies are fabulous love the pups resonable and very efficient in their practise. They have a hospital truck to make house calls if needed. They are multi dog and rescue friendly. The place is staye of the art and immaculate. I can't say enough great things about them. I have been flipping around to find a good vet for my pups. They are truly a find. Your friend if she decide to try them can use my name Susan Leddy if she wants. Ive been there several times in order to switch all my guys over. Good luck to your friend I sure she will be happy if she trys them.
