  There's supermarkets in the Westerstraat and an Ekoplaza (organic store) at Haarlemmerdijk. Also Vegabond (vegan food store) is closeby. Restaurant Betawi (http://www.betawi.nl/) is a good place for Indonesian food and vegan-friendly.
