  Visiting for a Week! Hey Everyone! I’m from San Francisco and I’m visiting New York this week. I’m with my partner and this is our first time! We want to avoid extremely touristy places, and tourist traps! We’ll be staying in Lower Manhattan in Chinatown. So far on out itinerary we want to visit the Met Museum and Central Park Also, Katz Deli and Russ and Daughters We interested in seeing a comedy show, or live music as well! Side Note: I’m a baker, so any awesome bakery recommendations would be greatly appreciated! (... We went to Ferrara and loved the Spumoni!) What are your favorite places in NYC to explore? What are your favorite places to eat in NYC? What are your favorite bars? What do you do to enjoy the nightlife in NYC? We’ll take any recommendations! :)

  Since you're already down in Chinatown, I would check out [The Pickle Guys](https://www.pickleguys.com/) if you're into any kind of pickled food. Other Recommendations: \-High Line Park \-Washington Square Park (there are some comedy venues near here, but the park itself is worth exploring) \-The Stonewall / Christopher Park \-World Trade Center Observatory (Expensive, but a great view - I recommend watching a sunset)
