About us

Bon Temps Musique is currently offering private lessons to ages 4- Adult in the Baytown Area.

Alicia Bourdier also has a Kindermusik Program : Kindermusik by Bon Temps Musique that introduces ages Newborn- 5 to music.

About the Instructors:

Husband and wife duo, James and Alicia Bourdier, are both from the Baton Rouge area and both hold degrees in Music. James Bourdier holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Lamar University in Texas. In addition to his private lessons he is currently a band directorat Goose Creek Memorial High School. Alicia Bourdier holds a Bachelor of Music Composition from Louisiana State University. She has extensively studied Piano Pedagogy and is current member in Baton Rouge Piano Teacher's Association, Louisiana Music Teacher's Association and the National Music Teacher 's Associations. Alicia is constantly creating implementing new techniques to help use music as a stress relief tool.

Both Instructors have a deep passion and love for music and encourage creativity and individuality in each student. Each lesson is personalized and tailored to meet the desires, needs and goals of each student.
