  Ok nevermind just checked with Willy. That's how bad my memory is haha. Anyways the company was Amistee. We used them and a friend and we both recommend them. Very professional.   Indoor Environmental is 248-689-0916 (Maurits Winkler-Prins if he hasn't retired yet). I didn't think he was too expensive; mine was $360 but my house is between 3500-4000 square feet (though he notes I had an "accessible ceiling" in the basement so maybe that kept costs down) Another friend just used him last fall and her family has a ton of allergies and he is the only one she will use. I recall him being rather odd, quirky to talk on the phone but he was great here back in 2012

  A few years back Royal Oak Heating & Cooling would only refer me to one guy- Indoor Environmental. Definitely does more than 6 feet in but I have heard some companies are fly by night so don't trust just anybody. I have his number still in my files if you want to call him...

  We have used both Indoor Environmental and Modernistic. They were both good--expensive, but by that I mean hundreds of $, not thousands. We had to do it after remodeling projects and it made a huge difference. Modernistic always has coupons in the mailings or you might be able to find them online.

  I would also suggest getting the duct work cleaned. We had a faint smell of smoke in our house after we bought it and having the duct work cleaned made all the difference.
