Planet Doggy Day Stay offers a home-away-from-home for your dog in a comfortable, clean and safe environment in a quiet setting with regular human companionship.
There is a place for all dogs at Planet Doggy Day Stay - puppies through to our canine senior citizens. Dietery and medical needs - no problem!
We offer a very limited number of dogs the chance to stay with us which allows us more time to spend with each dog.

Hi Friends! I just joined the group a couple months ago and I'm really impressed by how helpful everyone is! That's cool! Anyway, my hubby and I are taking a little 4-day trip to Wellington in September and we're in need of a dog sitter for our 8 year old Aussie Shepherd. Any suggestions? We don't want to put her up in a kennel as she only recently arrived from overseas and was in quarantine. Ideally, we're looking for someone who'd be willing to watch her in their own home. She's pretty good on her own, but she just LOVES being around people and we'd hate to have her all alone for 4 days. The only drawback is that she can be a little aggressive with other dogs. She's best with more passive pooches and much less so with puppies or more brazen dogs. Any referrals or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! And if any of you offer pet-sitting services, feel free to message me privately.
