  Okay, recommendations required please. I'm looking for a nice pub in Hemel that does GOOD food and is also child-friendly. Please don't say the Red Lion in Apsley/Kings Langley as, whilst their outside area for kids is fantastic, the food is dire. Thanks in advance!

  The Old Chequers, Gaddesden is lovely. Just been for lunch there. The kids menu is good and they give the kids a little goodie bag with crayons and stickers etc. Was very impressed with the service too! X http://www.oldchequershemel.co.uk
