  Diane, I dont mess around with home care products, if they are in your house and its more then a few, they have a nest somewhere that is too close. The pest doctor, amazing staff and reasonable, and they walk thru and tried to pinpoint the issue so it can be repaired( may be that there is a leak somewhere carpenter ants like wet wood to chew) I offer my sincere apologies to all the ant lovers and antichemical folks now, but the one thing I am deathly emotionally allergic too, is ants, I cannot abide them within my walls and you can ask my neighbours and family ....im more annoying then the ants.
