  We are going to be moving mid January and I am trying to find a moving company, one that will treat my things as though they are their personal items, one that will not charge me travel time because seriously, who gets paid to drive to work?? We are moving from a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment in Gallatin, to a larger apartment in the same complex, with one bedroom being upstairs. I have gotten a couple of quotes but would prefer to do business with a Gallatin company if possible. No appliances to be moved, only furniture, maybe a few boxes, but mainly furniture. Can anyone help me with a legit company?

Anybody know of an AFFORDABLE moving service that could get us in quick? Just asking for the heavy stuff to be moved from our 2nd story apartment by Nashville Shores to our new house by Nashboro Village (15 min drive). It might be cheaper to just hire some people to load a U-haul, Drive the truck down there ourselves, then hire people to unload it rather than hiring a company to have to drive their truck 1,000 miles. My husband’s company will be paying for the expense but we’d still like to go the least expensive route. Side note- I don’t really want your cousin, Joe Bob that may or may not show up and may sling our furniture onto the truck haphazardly. Any companies that you’ve used and have great experiences with? So I'm looking for movers who are: reliable, respectful of me and my things, budget friendly, and honest. The other thing is I need to move BOTH a one bedroom apartment and a storage unit. Everything is ending up at the same place. I'm fine having movers do the apartment and a handyman type service do the storage unit but I'm looking for the same qualities in both. I know it's going to cost more to go and pick things up from a storage unit (it's all already packed), but I'd like to move all this without it costing me an arm and a leg. Suggestions?
