  Please post: Im sure someone out there in this community can guide me in the right direction, i am going to get married pretty soon and i want to build my own home i already have the floor plan and estimate on what im going to spend i want to build it not hire a contractor to take over because my goal is to save money. The problem is that i know you need permits and that there is rules and regulations etc etc where can i get all that info so i can start getting things done and does it matter that the lot i buy is outside city limits or within limits? An office i can go to or a number i can call is greatlly appreciated or input that relates to this as well thanks
