  Debra , you are a wealth of info! :) Brittnie Lee , Are you looking at strictly sports or just being active? Here are some non-standard ideas for sports/activities ... * Gymnastics (Coach Ray at Sky Valley Academy is fantastic with the boys!) * Parkour (again, Coach Ray) (parkour is like free-running ... throwing yourself over and around obstacles efficiently and safely. YouTube has lots of videos. Think: American Ninja Warrior) * Dance -- boys seem to especially like tap and hip-hop. My son tap danced for several years. My only caution here is to know what environment you are comfortable with -- dance moves and lyrics can be ... controversial. I recommend Selena Harris 206-883-3958. What I like about these activities is that they can be as individual or group as the child is comfortable with. They can be competitive or not -- as much as you'd like. They are not seasonal. They can be easily practiced at home without a lot of special equipment. Track is another good one. Individual, but also part of a team -- relays, etc. But I think track season is in full swing.
