It appears the pump or motor has gone out in my pool cause it won't turn on. Who can I call to fix this? Someone reliable & reasonably priced?
Don C. replied:
I second it could be the starter solenoid(capacitor). Will be under a cover on top of the pool motor. Two screws loosen, take off cover and take to pool place to test. Should be about $30 bucks. Living Water Pools, Dan Jacobs is honest and reasonable. Has replaced my motors at least 4 times. 972-824-9139livingwaterpools@yahoo.com. Lives in FloMo near Marcus High . If the motor appeared to be grinding or high pitched noise prior, you probably need motor. Usually bearings.
