  UPDATE : the surgery went well. She came through. Whew! Thank you prayers warriors! Hiwever, her breathing isn't very strong now. The docs have decided to keep her in ICU to monitor her. So please keep praying. The foot was taken off mid calf. Didn't go as high as we originally thought it was going to be. Now we just need her breathing to stabilize! We will be able to see her every odd hour for a few minutes. Laura is exhausted mentally and physically. Thank you Felicia hill for the dominoes to feed her. It was much needed and greatly appreciated! Now we are trying to find a cheap clean hotel for Dee's parents that is close to the hospital. They drove in from Illinois and are on a budget. Unexpected events in life are hard to pay for. Any ideas???? Thanks again yall. We continue to wait and see.

  There is a place called Brookwood Medical Inn. The number is 205-877-1780. I can call if need be to get pricing. The days Inn on 31 has changed hands. Don't know the name but it looks like a shady place now:/
