There was only one special mouthwash he could recommend - a Colgate 'gel' mouthwash that you smear on the tooth. I am petrified of having a wisdom tooth removed and he said this might delay the surgery for a few years. Does anyone know of a cruelty free version of this weird mouthwash?

  This range is pricey but marked vegan. The mouthwash is good because it comes unflavoured but you can choose to make it minty by adding the sachet provided... http://www.ultradex.co.uk
