Does anyone have a referral for (or happen to be) an electrician who might be available tomorrow? We need to swap out (upgrade) a doorbell and two thermostats.

Looking for recommendations for a licensed/insured electrician who has done whole house rewiring and can possibly add a sub panel/correct the current panels wiring. We want to eventually upgrade to 200amp service, but the wiring is a safety concern. I know it's not cheap, but I'm looking for someone reasonably priced. I prefer recommendations from someone who has had work done and can attest to quality/up to code and fair pricing. Thanks.
Hi. Can anyone recommend a reliable handyman with decent prices? We just need a couple of small jobs around the house (rodding a toilet, etc). Thank you!

James Murphy. He's great and super reasonable 630-885-7556.
I am looking for recommendations for an electrician to upgrade our electrical panel. I already have the new panel purchased. I would prefer someone that follows any state or city requirements for permits if necessary.

Can anyone recommend an electrician that can come to my home on Saturday? The power to half of my house just went out, and no circuits have tripped. Thanks in advance.

https://m.facebook.com/Murphyimprovement/. Call Comed if your in unincorporated or city of Batavia electric dept if you live in town. Sounds like you dropped a phase. Not uncommon for this to happen if you have overhead service
Any licensed plumbers, electricians, and/or roofers available this weekend to come and provide an estimate for some smaller projects? If so, please pm me! Thanks!
Looking for recommendations...want to have my current kitchen cabinets painted. Any info and recommendations of local companies/contractors greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Good morning!! We have some electrical work we need done around our house. Namely some ceiling fans/chandeliers moved and installed, switches changed, a couple of outlets that aren't working properly and a couple other miscellaneous things done. I'd love recommendations for local and affordable electricians or handymen that could do this job! Thanks so much!
In need of an electrician and someone that can do a small patio either paver or concrete. Looking to compare costs and ideas. Thanks!

https://m.facebook.com/Murphyimprovement/ for the electric!! He was so great for a project we had. Quick response, honest, fair price (way lower than the other two quotes we got) and did a great job.
Need a recommendation for a handyperson to do some small electrical work. Please include why you are recommending this person/company. Thanks!
Sarah J. replied:
https://www.facebook.com/Murphyimprovement/ James Murphy came by and gave us an estimate, well below the other two estimates we got. He scheduled our work for that same week, came out and did a great job (on time, neat, quick, etc). We also had him look at another project for us; swapping a circuit breaker for a bigger one, which he could have done and gotten paid and left, but he said the wiring we had wasn't safe for what we wanted to do. I will go to him for any project I have in the future.
I know this has been on here before and I actually wrote down some names ... Can't find list

James Murphy, https://www.facebook.com/murphyimprovement/ We used him for a relatively small job. His quote was well below the other estimates we got (including ideal), he was responsive to messages, worked us into his schedule quickly, did a great job, cleaned up after himself. Just an honest, knowledgable, local guy.
Anyone know a reliable electrician who is not too expensive? Lost electricity in a corner of the kitchen but the circuit breaker didn't flip and flipping it does nothing. We've used Mendel but they are too expensive.
I apologize because I am sure this has been already addressed but any recommendations for a reasonably priced electrician? We have one outside outlet that's not working. Christmas is coming people!
